Working with the National Foundation for the Deaf

The Business has won the National Foundation for the Deaf account and we've immediately started work on tackling the issues that affect hundreds of thousands of Kiwis.

Approximately one in six Kiwis are hard of hearing and by 2050 it will be one in four of us. Despite this, the New Zealand Government does not legislate for captioning unlike many other countries.

The Business and The National Foundation for the Deaf are developing plans to engage New Zealanders in a campaign to raise awareness of the issue and increase the captioning in New Zealand.

Introducing New Zealand's first ever wine that tells you when it's chilled and ready.

We helped develop the VNO brand from scratch and it has enjoyed strong commercial success. Now we've helped Constellation Brands launch a thermo label that literally tells you when it has hit the correct temperature for drinking.
Supported with an integrated ATL and in store campaign, the labels hit the shelves this week in a Supermarket near you.

6 X Finalists in 2015 Marketing Awards

We are delighted to be finalists again in the Marketing Awards with our client iSite Media. The news just broke that behind Countdown (Progressive Enterprises) who have 11 shortlisted, we have the second most finalist entries (level with Westpac). Rupert Fenton, Head of Freshness at iSite, is also finalist for Marketer of the Year.

iSite win Media Business of the year

We are proud to announce that iSite Media won Media Business of the Year at the 2015 CAANZ Beacon Awards. It was their fourth year as finalists alongside tough competitors TVNZ and MediaWorks Radio. The judges were looking for the business with a clear vision and strategy who implemented that strategy with measurable results ultimately impacting the success of the Business. This marks a year of achievement for iSite Media taking home three TVNZ Marketing Awards and sweeping the floor at the NZDM Awards. 2015 will see further focus on developing outdoor measurement in New Zealand and continue the trend of innovative marketing.

New product and brand development with Hansells

Hansells have partnered with The Business to work on a host of new product and brand developments in the supermarkets across multiple sectors. We are really excited about being able to identify new opportunities for growth, how new and existing brands will be defined and developing that brand from a strategic, packaging and communications point of view.

Launching iSites Reach & Frequency for buses.

It turns out that people in the New Zealand media industry are currently afflicted by an epidemic of agoraphobia, an irrational fear of open spaces that often precludes sufferers from going outside. Luckily we have the antidote.

Winning big at the TVNZ Marketing Awards

We are super chuffed to have picked up 3 Golds at the Marketing Awards, which were held at The Langham yesterday – the biggest haul of the night.

It’s another great win with our client iSite media, which follows the 5 golds and the Nexus Supreme at the Direct Marketing awards earlier this year. It was also fantastic to be finalists in 5 categories with our client Constellation Brands for the very successful Selaks Roast Day campaign.

This is a superb result for us because we orchestrated some fantastic results on tight budgets and without the resources of many of the big brands we were competing with.

Our client Appserv acquired by Spark

We are happy to report that our long term client, independently owned and operated New Zealand based Appserv, has been acquired by Spark for $17 Million.

11 times finalists in the TVNZ Marketing Awards

The finalists have just been announced and The Business are proud to be finalists in the marketing awards in 11 different categories for our Selaks Roast Day and iSite media campaigns.

The Business win Davanti Consulting

The Business are delighted to welcome Davanti Consulting as a new client. Davanti is one of the most respected business transformational firms in New Zealand,  working with big business to deliver change programs and the premier partner for SalesForce in New Zealand.

We are excited to be helping Davanti refresh its brand and marketing communications.

Rory Walker, Senior Business Manager at Davanti, says:
“The Business came recommended to us after we found we needed help at a strategic level to develop our brand proposition. We’d spoken to a few agencies but found The Business quickly showed they had a grasp on our challenges and operate in the same “business first” pragmatic way that we do.”

Clinicians win prestigious award

Last week the Clinicians marketing team won the 2014 Pharmaceutical Marketing awards for the Women”s range campaign we put together.

Clinicians win most innovative award

Last week Clinicians won Gold in the Natural Health Products Awards. This was for “Clinicians For Women”, the highly successful campaign we developed with Clinicians last year that involved branding, digital, in-store and advertising.

This is a great recognition of the team”s achievements in the industry and builds on the commercial success of the campaign.
