That’s the question we asked New Zealanders in our recent Wattie’s Tomato Sauce provocative social and PR campaign.

It proved controversial.

Our Facebook post reached 1.5 Million people without any money behind it and had a comment per second for 24 hours straight.

We made national news headlines and even got coverage in The Sun, Britains biggest newspaper.

It caused conversation and even got TVNZ’s Seven Sharp to try it on the streets of Auckland.

In all, it reached a total audience of over 25 million people with close to zero budget.
